I have have been a certified real estate appraiser since 1996 and a South Floridian since 1966. My office and home is located in the city of Pompano Beach. Pompano Beach was established in 1908 as a farming community with its eastern boundary along the Atlantic Ocean. Pompano Beach is also known as the home of the goodyear blimp. My clients are pleased with my knowledge of South Florida real estate and diligence to produce reliable appraisals in a timely manner. ABOUT SOUTH FLORIDA

Centuries ago South Florida was known as a place of swampland and rugged wilderness inhabitated soley by the Seminole Indians  The first non-indian settlers arrived in the early 1800's to farm, salvage ship wrecks and hide from the authorities. During those pioneer days mail was delivered by the infamous barefoot mailman . Significant changes began in the 1896 when Henry Flager extended the Florida East Coast Railroad from West Palm Beach to Miami. Soon after the flood gates were opened and people came from everywhere to settle in South Florida. The extension of the FEC Railroad and the conclusion of the Third Seminole War in 1858 pushed the indians into the beautiful and unique Florida Everglades . Over the years development has gone through several real estate booms to make up the present South Florida. Today, South Florida is nearly built out and home to an ethnic melting pot of people from throughout the world. The weather is a constant draw for tourism and people escaping the colder areas of our country. The growth has been well managed with great park systems, many golf courses and is known as the boating capital of the world. South Florida has become big time with four major professional sport teams including the Miami Dolphins , Florida Marlins, Miami Heat  and the Florida Panthers .
